A Top Quality Regency period rosewood and brass bound writing slope.c.1830. Excellent coromandel wood interior with inset blue leather writing surface. Secret compartment below. Working lock and key to the interior and exterior. Intact brass escutcheon and edges to the exterior. Superb colour and patina. Measures 16" x 10" x 7"high. Stock no. 26696.
