1) All items must be paid for in full prior to removal from Sturmans Antiques.

2) All items are sold subject to the understanding that the title does not pass to the purchaser until items are paid for in full.

3) Responsibility for safety and security of goods passes to the purchaser upon removal from Sturmans Antiques.

4) Whilst we are happy to arrange delivery/shipments on the customer's instruction, any liability is between the carrier and customer.  Please note that delivered items must be checked carefully for any damage caused in transit.  All damages must be reported immediately in order to be covered by the courier's insurance.  Claims of damages to items after 24 hours will not be accepted and any cost of repair will be the customer's responsibility.

5) Clocks and barometers are sold with a six month guarantee (UK mainland only), unless otherwise stated at the point of sale.  If a fault is suspected, customers' must return the item at their own expense to Sturmans Antiques within the guarantee period.  Items found to have been tempered with by a third party ie the customer or another repairer will immediately invalidate the warrantee.

6) All items purchased from Sturmans Antiques via the internet are covered under the distance selling regulations; which gives buyers the right to cancel the purchase within 14 days upon receipt of the goods.  Once Sturmans Antiques is in receipt of the returned item, a refund is given less the initial delivery costs and return transport costs.
