A small proportioned George III period figured mahogany chest of drawers with brushing slide and original brass fittings c.1770. Figured timber moulded top with pull out brushing slide below, which includes an inset baize forming a writing surface. Two over three graduated drawers each with figured timber, cockbead edges, small brass lock escutcheons and superior quality brass swan neck handles. The chest includes solid timber sides, a moulded plinth to the base with original bracket feet below. Superior quality and presented in excellent original condition with a deep shine. Measures 33" wide x 18.5" deep x 34" high. Stock number 43001.
