A matching set of 8 Victorian pink porcelain apothecary jars with original hand painted and gilded labels sat behind a glass front c.1880. Set comprising of three large, two medium and three small jars. Each porcelain jar and lid with a striking deep pink glaze and white rims to the jar top and foot with matching white rims to the lid. The front of each jar with hand painted and gilded label sat behind a curved glass cover. Some jars with removable tinned metal liner. An unusually large matching set, some jars with minor damages as to be expected with this type of item, but overall presented in excellent condition. Largest jars measure 6" diameter x 11.5" high. medium jars measure 5.5" diameter x 10.5" high and small jars measure 4.5" diameter x 8" high. Stock number 42971.
