An unusually large Edwardian silver Hedgehog pin cushion with superb detail throughout, hallmarked Birmingham 1905. The solid silver body with embossed needles to the lower half and polished upper section with small holes to place the needles in giving the effect of hedgehog needles when filled. Excellent detail to the face and four legs, original filling to the interior enabling it to be used a a pin cushion still. Bears the makers mark for Birmingham silversmiths and pin cushion specialist Sydney & Co along with clear hallmarks. Presented in immaculate condition.  Measures 2.75" long x 1.25" wide x 1.75" high. Stock number 42912.
