A fine quality Edinburgh silver loving cup with stylised acanthus decoration, hallmarked Edinburgh 1911. Flared rim to the top with bellied base, which is stood on a small rim. Stylised acanthus leaf design embossed decoration running continuously around the base with an embossed line to the upper half forming a waist. Cast loop handles with decorative thumb plates to the tops set to each side. Bears the makers mark for Edinburgh silversmiths and highly regarded retailers Hamilton & Inches along with clear hallmarks. Weighing 4.5 troy oz and presented in immaculate condition. Measures 5" wide including handles x 3.5" diameter at the rim x 3.25" high. Stock number 49210.
