A George III period figured mahogany mirror with decorative pediment and gilt trim c.1810. Ornate fretted surround with figured mahogany veneers to the pediment and matching apron to the base; gilt gesso surround to the mirror edge with carved gilt Hoho bird to the top. Complementing carved gilded floral swags to either side of the frame with secure fittings for wall hanging on the boarded back. Original quarter plate mirror glass in good condition. Presented in excellent original condition with a rich colour and polish. Measures 20" wide x 1.25" deep x 43.75" high. Stock number 42673.
