An Edwardian period solid silver tusk shaped desk thermometer by Levi & Salaman, hallmarked Birmingham 1904. The solid silver case in the form of a tusk with inset silvered scale to the front and original mercury action thermometer. The silver case work returning to the underside with four small bun feet below. Bears the makers mark for Birmingham silversmiths Levi & Salaman along with clear hallmarks. Presented in immaculate fully working condition. Measures 1.75" wide x 1.25" deep at the base x 3.5" high. Stock number 42636.
