A top quality Victorian solid silver tea caddy in the form of a knife box with axe drop handle to the lid, hallmarked London 1899. The silver caddy with serpentine front, polished sides and sloping top to the hinged lid, plus axe drop handle to the centre. The lid opening to reveal an immaculate unused gilt lined interior. Bears the makers mark for London silversmith Thomas Liddiard along with clear hallmarks to all sections. Heavy quality and presented in in immaculate unused condition.
