A superb quality and stylish late Victorian solid brass Corinthian column lamp standard with weighted claw foot and original vaseline glass shade; fully restored and rewired ready for use c.1890. Heavy stepped base with superbly detailed claw feet set to the corners, square mount above with cast wreath design decorations to each side. Substantial solid brass reeded column above with Corinthian mount to the top. The original curved lamp arm above with lamp mount to the end holding the switched brass lamp holder. Period Vasaline flashed uranium glass shade in tones of green sat in the cradle; when lit giving a stunning effect.
