A quality Victorian turned oak cased aneroid barometer with carved leaf wreath border by Tozer of Torquay c.1890. The broad turned oak case with delicate carved leaf wreath design border to the dial edge. Porcelain dial with weather predictions sat around the outer edge and the makers name Tozer, Torquay. Glazed viewing window set in a polished brass bezel with red tipped reading marker set to the centre of the glass. Fully serviced and working movement, the case in excellent condition with a rich colour and original patina. Measures 9" diameter x 5" dial diameter x 2.75" deep. Stock number 42107.
