A superior quality Victorian 8 day solid brass cased four glass mantel clock with decorative cream enamel dial c.1885. The solid brass case with Corinthian columns to the corners and dental cornice to the moulded edge top. Matching dental moulding to the base with small block feet to the corners, perfect bevelled edge quarter plate glass to all sides; hinged opening doors to the front and rear. The eight day Paris made movement with mercury compensating pendulum and gong striking on the hour and half hour.
