A fine quality Victorian embossed silver trinket box in the form of a ladies court shoe c.1890. The solid silver shoe formed in the style of a ladies court shoe with hinged lid and snap catch to the top; the lid opening to reveal a clean interior. The sides and the top of the shoe embossed with superbly detailed scroll design decoration. Bears Hanau silver marks to the base along with 930 silver quality mark and an import mark for Berthold Muller c.1890. Presented in immaculate condition. Measures 4.25" long x 1.25" deep x 2" high. Stock number 42895.
