A mid Victorian rosewood mother of pearl inlaid card box with cribbage board to the lid c.1875. Oblong form with choice rosewood veneers. The hinged lid, which is also a cribbage board, is inlaid with mother of pearl and opens to reveal an original three section lined interior. The box is complete with two packs of playing cards, dice and counters ready to use. Presented in excellent original condition with a rich polish. Measures 11.5" long x 4" deep x 2.25" high. Stock number 42580.
