Description

A Victorian gilt brass cased pocket barometer by Steward in the original case c.1890. Dark red leather cloth covered presentation case with hinged opening, plus original green velvet and silk lined interior. The gilt brass cased barometer with engine turned bezel for marking the reading, convex glass to the front and hanging loop to the top. Engraved silvered dial bearing the makers name Steward of Leicester with aneroid movement sat behind. Presented in excellent condition and in full working order.  Barometer Measures 1.75" diameter x 0.75" deep x 2.75" high including hanging loop.  Stock number CS260.
