A Victorian golden figured oak cased aneroid barometer c.1880. The deep turned solid golden oak case with hanging loop to the top. Aneroid movement sat behind a white porcelain dial bearing the weather predictions in red and black ornate lettering. The dial sat behind a glazed view window mounted in a polished brass bezel with centre reading marker. Superb quality and original condition, fully serviced and working. Measures 9.5" diameter overall x 2" deep. Stock number 42258.
