A superb quality late Victorian burr walnut and oak waterfall bookcase with three drawers to the base c.1890. Three shelves graduated in depth, upstand to the top section to hold the books in place and shaped edge to the sides giving a waterfall effect. The base with three drawers, each with burr veneers to match the moulded walnut edges and burr veneered sides. Moulded base rail with original bracket feet below. Figured oak back boards and shelves, beautifully made and very sturdy and useable. Presented in superb original condition with a rich colour and original patina.
