A superb quality Edwardian all silver photo frame with engraved decoration, hallmarked Birmingham 1909. Formed from a single piece of thick gauge silver, the outer edge semi oval in form with cut out base forming the feet. Decorative panels of floral engraving to the top, sides and base of the surround, with an oval photograph window to the centre. Original blue velvet back with sturdy easel stand sat in a sliver recess. Bears the makers mark for Birmingham silversmiths Joseph Gloster along with clear hallmarks. Superior quality and beautifully made, presented in immaculate condition. Takes photograph 3.5" x 5.25". Measures overall 4.75" wide x 7.5" high. Stock number 42544.
