A small proportioned Victorian walnut and silver plate three bottle tantalus with original decanters c.1880. Solid walnut frame with shaped sides and moulded top forming the locking bar. Fretted silver plated overlays to the base, sides and top with carrying handle to the centre. Working lock release catch and key to the side with the top bar springing back to release the bottles. Three original cut crystal decanters with reeded decoration and matching stoppers; some minor chips to the bases of the decanter which is not visible when the decanters are in the case. Excellent quality and presented in original condition.    Measures 11.5" wide x 5" deep x 9.5" high. Stock number 42881.
