Description

A mid Victorian turned horn handle and silver toddy ladle, hallmarked London 1873. The finely turned handle with rope twist grip, strung with complementing rope twist silver mount to the top and collar running into the well of the ladle, the well with decorative mount to the rear and pouring lip set to the side. Bears the makers mark for London silversmith Thomas Marples along with clear hallmarks to all sections. Presented in excellent condition with a deep shine. Measures 16" long overall x 3" wide x 2" deep x 1" high at the well. Stock number 36483.
