Description

A superb quality large silver bottle stopper with cast silver pheasant to the top by highly regarded maker Garrard & Co Ltd, hallmarked London 1954. Flared sides to the silver top with flat surface above, superbly detailed cast solid silver pheasant set to the centre. Original inset tappering cork to the base. Bears the makers mark for London silversmith Garrard & Co Ltd along with clear hallmarks. Measures 2.25" diameter at the rim x 4" high. Stock number 42389.
