A set of three fine quality Irish George III cast brass fire irons c.1800. The three matching solid brass irons each with matching knuckles to the stems and urn tops forming the handles. The tongs with scissor action, the shovel with fretted and engraved decoration and the poker with pointed tip. Superbly made and rare to find in cast brass, presented in immaculate condition with a rich polish. Irons measure 30.5" long x 6.5" wide at the end of the shovel. Stock number 42337.
