A rare and unusual Edwardian solid silver pig pin cushion and matching trough forming a needle tray, hallmarked Birmingham 1907. The small pig with superb detail and pad to the top forming a pin cushion. Matching pin tay in the form of a food trough with a small pin below the chin of pig, which connects to a loop of the side of the trough. Both items with matching hallmarks, worn on the trough and with an unidentified makers mark. Presented in excellent original condition. Pig and trough placed together measure 2.75" wide x 2" deep at the trough x 1.75" high at top of pig. Stock number 42911.
