A pair of fine quality original oils on canvas depicting Kisdon Force, Swaledale and The Ure, Swaledale by collected Yorkshire artist William Mellor (1851-1931). The matching pair of oils both painted with superb detail in typical Mellor style with bright sky's and Autumn colours.  Both paintings with excellent depth and flowing waters, one depicting Kisdon Force and the other the Ure in Swaledale. Both signed by the artist and set in quality timber gilt frames. A difficult to find matching pair depicting Swaledale, with both being presented in excellent clean undamaged condition ready to hang. Each measures including the frame 20" wide x 22" high. Stock number 42660.
