A matching pair of superbly detailed Victorian bronze putti cherub wheat gatherers on marble bases c.1885. Each superbly detailed figure with excellent original patination, one figure with a scythe in hand and the other with a sheath of wheat carried on the shoulder. Both figures sat on the original golden grained marble plinth. Both presented in excellent original condition with a rich patina. Each measures 4" wide x 2.5" square at bases x 8.5" high. Stock number 42370.
