Description

An outstanding quality Arts & Crafts Glasgow School silver photo frame, hallmarked Birmingham 1904. The solid silver surround with flared base and embossed decoration of stylised flower heads with flowing stems set within panels; typical of the Glasgow School. Original oak back with sturdy easel stand. Bears the makers mark for Birmingham silversmiths Deakin & Francis along with clear hallmarks. Presented in immaculate condition. Takes photograph 4" x 5.25". Measures overall 8.5" wide at the base x 9" high. Stock number 42551.
