A very collectable Negretti & Zambra solid brass desk top weather forecaster c.1920. The solid brass face with engraved numerals and instructions; the outer dial adjusting for the seasons and the secondary dial for the atmospheric pressure, which allows the weather predictions to be read through a window at the base. Polished finish with black waxed engraving. Sturdy brass easel stand to the rear for desk standing and hanging loop to the top for wall hanging. Presented in excellent condition and full working order. Measures 4.75" diameter x 0.25" deep x 5.5" high including hanging loop. Stock number 43241.
