An original Moorcroft 'Claremont' long neck vase with superb quality decoration, signed William Moorcroft to the base c.1920. Bulbous base with long neck and flared rim to the top. The lower half of the vase decorated with a continuous band of tube lined toadstools painted in unusually bright yellows, purples and pinks, set against a soft green background with hints of blue at the foot and the rim. Signed William Moorcroft in full to the base along with Moorcroft factory impressions indicating a date of manufacture of c.1919. Presented in immaculate perfect un-restored condition with no damage or repairs. Measures 4" diameter at the widest point x 1.75" diameter at the rim x 8.5" high. Stock number 42665.
