A fine quality George V period solid silver topped biscuit jar with superb cut crystal base, hallmarked Sheffield 1925. Heavy quality silver mount to the rim with swing handle to the top and matching lid, turned ebony and silver handle to the centre of the lid. The cut crystal base with rounded corners and tapering sides; superb deep cut decoration. Bears the makers mark for Sheffield silversmiths C.W. Fletcher & Sons along with clear hallmarks to all sections. Presented in immaculate condition with perfect clear crystal and immaculate silver fittings.    Measures 5.5" wide x 5.5" deep x 6.5" high or 9" high with handle up. Stock number 39959.
