Description

A George III period figured walnut kneehole desk with original brassware and herringbone crossbanding c.1790. The quarter veneered figured walnut top with herringbone crossbanding and moulded edge, tucks to the corner. Long drawer to the top and three small drawers set either side below, recess to the centre forming the kneehole with inset cupboard. Matching veneers and crossbanding to the top; original engraved brass handles. Sat on a moulded plinth with original bracket feet below. Excellent rich and even colour throughout with a rich polish. Presented in excellent condition. Measures 39" wide x 20" deep x 30" high. Stock number 39513.
