A superb quality George III period figured oak country house dresser with open pot board in wonderful original condition c.1770. Planked top with plate rail to the rear, sat over a five drawer base with three long drawers below the surface; each with cockbead edges and original brass fittings. Three smaller drawers sat below, each drawer above a fine turned column support with arches sat in between, which include fruitwood and ebony sunbursts.  Original planked pot board to the base with moulded edge, plus plinth and original bracket feet below. Presented in superb original condition with a mellow original golden colour and rich patina. Measures 72.5" long x 16.75" deep x 31" high. Stock number 42979.
