A fine quality Regency figured mahogany stick barometer with engraved silvered scale and thermometer to the trunk, fully restored and working c.1825. Slim figured mahogany case with banded edge and swan neck pediment to the top, turned cistern cover to the base. Engraved silvered scale with vernier marker bearing the makers name Louis Bellatti, Grantham (w.1825-45. Listed as clock, optician, instrument maker and jeweller and specialist in angle barometers). Matching silvered scale to the mercury action thermometer sat to the centre of the trunk. Superb quality and condition with a rich colour and deep polish, fully restored and working. Measures 5.5" wide x 3" deep x 40" high.  Stock number 40352.
