Description

A fine quality late Victorian walnut cheval mirror in George III style by highly regarded maker Tozer, London c.1900. The moulded shaped edge mirror frame with pediment to the top and patinated gilt trim. Sat on turned uprights with finials to the tops and decorative brass fittings supporting the mirror. Moulded foot base with carved relief and twin supporting turned stretchers, matching patinated gilt highlights. Original quarter plate bevelled edge mirror glass in good condition. Bears the makers label to the rear for Tozer, London makers of fine quality walnut furniture in the late Victorian and Edwardian period. Presented in excellent original condition with a rich polish. Measures 66" high x 29" wide x 22" deep at the foot. Stock number TBA.
