Description

A Fine George III period mahogany inlaid stick barometer.c.1800. Silvered engraved scale with opening door. Vernier marker to the mercury top and thermometer to the side. Book matched veneers and herringbone crossbanding to the edges. Turned cistern cover to the base. Broken arch pediment to the top. Made by Massoratti of Dundee. Fully overhauled. Measures 38"long x 5" x 3"deep. Stock no.24854.
