An Elegant George II Elm 'Box' armchair.c.1750. Shaped splat to the back and scroll shaped arm supports. Fielded panel front and sides to the base. Upholstered drop in seat with compartment below. Pegged joints throughout. Superb colour and patina. Measures 23"wide x 20.5"deep x 37"high. Seat 18"high.
