An Edwardian period burr walnut and gilt mantel clock.c.1910. Original gilt engine turned convex dial to the 8 Day French timepiece movement. Brass bezel surround with convex glass front. Burr walnut case with gilt beaded decoration to the surround. Blind fretwork panel to the base. Stands on brass bracket feet. Figured walnut back with brass cover to access the movement. Fully serviced and in full working order. Superb colour and patina to the walnut case. Measures 7.75" x 3" deep x 6.25" high. Stock no.CB1272.
