An Edwardian Cornish serpentine marble desktop paperweight with axe drop brass handle c.1910. Spherical form with ridge to the waist where the top half is turned slightly smaller giving a stepped effect. Brass axe drop handle to the top and remnents of the original paper cover to the underside. Presented in immaculate condition. Measures 2.25" diameter x 2" high. Stock number 43358.
