A heavy quality early Victorian solid silver taper candlestick with removable sconce and shell design thumb plate; hallmarked London 1850. Dished circular base forming a drip tray with loop handle and shell design thumb plate to the top. Candle holder to the centre with removable sconce to the top. Bears an unidentified but readable makers mark along with clear hallmarks to all sections. Superbly made and presented in immaculate condition. Measure 2" diameter at the base x 2.5" including handle x 2" high. Stock number 42635.
