Description

An Edwardian brass cased single fusee ships clock with 10" dial by Taylor of Liverpool c.1910. Heavy solid brass case with flange to the rear for securing to a bulkhead and deep brass sides. Cast bezel to the front glazed with quarter plate bevelled edge glass, knob to the side and hinged opening. Original painted dial with Roman numerals and blued steel hands, subsidiary seconds dial sat to the upper half of the dial. Quality single fusee movement with original chain drive and cylinder escapement, fully serviced and working. Presented in excellent fully working condition, some touching up to the edge of the dial that is masked by the door when closed. Measures 12.5" diameter at the rear flange x 6" deep x 10" dial. Stock number 39930.
