A fine quality Victorian oil on canvas of Barden Tower from Barden Woods, Wharfedale C.1900. Superbly painted in typical Mellor style with gentle Autumn colours. Signed in full by the artist and to the the subject listed to the rear. Set in the original swept timber gilt frame with excellent original gilt finish. No damage or repairs. Measures 26" wide x 20" high x 3" deep including the frame. Stock number MB11.
