A fine quality William IV period rosewood octagonal work table with carved relief and original fitted interior c.1830. Octagonal form with moulded edge to the hinged lid, apron below with floral carved relief and decorative finials set to the corners. Trumpet shaped base below sat on a carved tripod foot matching the apron. The hinged lid opening to reveal a an original fitted interior with small sections around the outer edge to hold pins and haberdashery, the centre with original green silk cover with wool or needlework storage compartment below. Presented in superb original condition with a... deep shine and rich colour. Measures 18.5" deep x 18.5" wide x 29.25" high. Stock number 38052.
