A top quality William IV period solid mahogany stool with rise and fall buttoned leather seat C.1835. Tripod foot with decorative acanthus leaf design carved relief adjoining the turned mahogany column. The deep buttoned tan hide upholstered seat revolving and rising and on a screw type mechanism. Superb condition with a deep shine and original patina, no breaks or repairs, very sturdy and useable. Measures 19.5" high rising to 23" high. Seat diameter 13" x 18" at base. Stock number 35335.
