A late Victorian walnut cased skeletonised aneroid barometer c.1890. Broad turned and carved polished walnut case with porcelain dial, which includes weather predictions in ornate and coloured script, plus skeletonised movement sat to the centre. The dial sat behind bevelled edge glass, which is mounted in a polished brass bezel with central reading marker. Fully serviced and working, presented in superb original condition. Measures 9" diameter x 9.5" high including hanging loop x 2" deep. Stock number 42009.
