Victorian Walnut Framed Window Seat
A top quality and stylish Victorian carved walnut framed window seat, newly upholstered ready for use c.1885. Scrolled over upholstered arms and serpentine front to the sprung seat, reupholstered in a pale yellow fabric. Carved show frame to the front with laurel wreath design to the arms and reeded carving to the apron below the seat. Sat on turned and carved legs with reeded uprights, plain show frame to the rear. Sat on the original brass and porcelain castors. Presented in immaculate condition with a deep shine to the frame, very sturdy and useable. Ideal as a window seat, dressing... room stool or at the base of a bed. Measures 35" maximum width x 17" deep x 26" high at the arms x 17.5" seat height. Stock number 38800.
