A late Victorian walnut cased aneroid barometer in carved walnut acorn and oak leaf carved case c.1900. The turned solid walnut case carved with a continuous band of acorns and oak leaves and polished brass hanging loop to the top. The skeletonised aneroid movement set to the centre surrounded by decorative porcelain enamelled dial; sat behind a bevelled edge glass mounted in a polished brass bezel with central reading marker. Bears the maker's mark for Boatman of Southend & Chelmsford to the dial. Fully overhauled and working, presented in immaculate condition with a deep shine.
