Victorian Walnut Book Slide
A Victorian figured walnut brass trimmed extending book slide c.1875. Folding supports to the sides with cut out handles, extending to double size. Figured timbers with ebonised edges and polished brass decoration. Superb condition with a deep shine and original patina. Measures when closed 13" long x 6" wide x 2" high. Measures when fully open 19" long x 6" wide x 6" high. Books shown in photograph are for demonstration purposes. Stock number 40116.
