A late Victorian turned walnut acorn and oak leaf design carved aneroid barometer c.1890. The turned and carved solid walnut casework with oak leaf design boarder, polished brass hanging loop to the top. Porcelain dial bearing the makers name Pollock & Stewart, Glasgow, visible skeletonised works set to the centre. Sat behind a bevelled edge glass mounted in a polished brass bezel with a centre reading marker. Full working order, superb colour, patina and condition. Measures 7.5" diameter x 8.5" high including hanging loop x 2" deep. Stock number 38830.
