A superb quality Victorian timber gilt framed oval mirror with the original gilt finish and mirror glass c.1885. The dished oval frame with decorative plaster work border to the outer edge complemented by an inner laurel wreath border. Scroll design plaster decoration to the inner dished surface and small decorative border to the mirror edge. Original gilt finish and original mirror glass in excellent condition. Paper covered boarded back with secure fixings for wall hanging; can be hung in portrait or landscape positions. Measures 20" wide x 2.75" deep at the frame x 24" hi...gh. Stock number 42090.
