A stylish and collectable Victorian solid silver pepper grinder in full working order, hallmarked London 1897. The flared base with rim at the foot, embossed with gadrooned design decoration. The domed top section with matching decoration and screw release finial to the top for filling the canister. The top revolving to grind the pepper, original working Peugeot grinding mechanism to the underside. Rubbed but readable hallmarks to all sections. Presented in good condition and full working order. Measures 2" diameter at the base x 3.25" high. Stock number 41470.
