An unusual Victorian rosewood and mother of pearl inlaid stationary and letter box in the form of a piano c.1860. The rosewood veneered exterior with decorative mother of pearl inlays, with a rounded front resembling a piano lid with pen and ink divisions behind. The lid to the top with slots marked for letters, notes and calling cards. The lid lifting to reveal a fitted interior with divisions to hold the papers in place. An unusual item presented in superb condition with a rich colour and original patina. Measures 9.5" wide x 7.5" deep x 7" high. Stock number 39904.
